If she is your friend and someone you already speak to on a regular basis, you can casually ask her during one of your conversations. If you aren't really friends yet, I'd suggest talking to her one day. Make her feel like she's a very important girl to you by listening to what she says. Girls love that. If you are feeling confident after a few conversations with her, I'd simply ask her the next time you see her. Tell her you've been thinking about the dance and you would love to take her. Good luck!
